Close of RSA Ireland Ning

Dear FellowsAs you may be aware, Ning are removing their free service, with charges for all websites being introduced from next week. In light of the very low traffic to this site, it would be a waste of money to pay to continue it in its current state. It will therefore be closing from Friday. This is not the end of the RSA Ireland presence, and indeed presents an ideal opportunity to discuss new ways forward. The intention is that a blog will be set up, at least as an interim measure, which…See More

Jamie's Jabberings - Matthew Taylor's Annual Lecture

It’s a beautiful day, so beautiful that even Lanarkshire looks pretty from the window!Petty local rivalries aside, the reason I am heading south is to attend the live broadcast of Matthew Taylor’s Annual Lecture which has been organised in Newcastle. Taking place in the Great Room at John Adam Street in London, the lecture is massively oversubscribed and occupies a key place…See More

Marilyn/Denis, ning comments are like Belfast buses - you wait forever for one then two come together. I was delighted to receive both your comments and I've nothing really to add but just to suggest we must all do this a little more…

Denis Stewart commented on Jamie Cooke's blog post 'Jamie's Jabberings - Roundtable with Fellows in Ireland'
Thanks, Jamie. It was good to meet you in the Co Down Newcastle and to learn first-hand that you are here [there and {almost} everywhere!} to support and enable whatever efforts we Irish Fellows may feel able to contribute to positive change in…

Jamie's Jabberings - RSA Animate

Just wanted to write a very quick blog about RSA Animate, the ingenious way that the RSA is now producing some of its lectures online. It involves an artist preparing a cartoon rendition of the lecture, capturing the key themes and learning points in a visually engaging way.

The Animate version…
